The entire range of O’Dwyer Pacing Shoes are now ‘drop forged’ products.
Manufacturing these products using this technology allows us to make shoes specifically tailored to the horse, with the intention of making the job of shoeing easier for the professional farrier. The combination of drop forging and the use of a special grade of carbon steel, results in the hard wearing yet easy to use product for this discipline of racing which is traditionally hard of horseshoe durability.
This range has new features including outside clips, blocked heels, slightly heavier sections in the front shoes, variable section widths in Pacing Hind, a true side weighted Hind, to name a few. This range which includes products such as Pacing Hind L&R, Pacing No Wing L&R, Pacing Front and Sprinter Front and Hind has now been fully revised and updated. We have developed a comprehensive range which will service the Pacing sector for the long term.
